First myRevenge Smite Tournament – Great success Niklas Bergdahl a.k.a. Meradana This past Saturday the first smite tournament hosted by myRevenge took place, the participating teams were myRevenge, ProCore Gaming, Juice Gaming, Bless, Bipolar Method, Borderland Gaming EU and Outlaw eSports. In the tournament’s first game ProCore Gamings faced Bipolar Method, and after a strong earlygame ProCore could smoothly transition to the lategame to then dominate the match, never letting Bipolar Method get a chance. After ProCores game against Bipolar Method it was time for myRevenge, the team hosting the tournament, the only team standing in their way on the path to the Grand Final. They came out of the earlygame disadvantaged, however a fed Ra managed to carry the game thanks to not losing any Doom Orb stacks and managing to stay out of the fray in the teamfights. This ended up turning a 1-5 situation to 14-8 and guaranteeing ProCores spot in the Final. ProCore Gaming, had played strong throughout the whole tournament and showed this especially in their final game, against Borderlands Gaming EU in the Grand Finals. After they had been dominated in terms of map control, game objectives and farm they still managed to turn it around. The first blood came very early on; Kali got killed before the minions even had time to spawn, giving Thor a good start to the game, ensuring that he ended up playing a major role in ProCore Gamings success. The game was very close in the kill count up until the 20th minute when ProCore scored a deicide, from that point on the game was set and done. This left ProCore Gaming as the Champions of the tournament with Borderland Gaming coming in second place and myRevenge placing third. |
