IPTL UpdateWell what a night it was on 03/07/2012. Our very own myRAbstract secured our teams place in winners round 4 of the IPTL season 4 with a dramatic all kill of one of the leagues top teams. The night started off with myRAbstract vs QnkSodon a pretty on sided zvz on GSL_Daybreak, Abstract came through with a better build and superior macro. Game 2 was yet another zvz. myRAbstract vs QnkMatiz on Antiga Shipyard, what a roller-coaster ride this was, pretty much back and forth for long periods of the game but our defiant zerg Abstract once again relied on his superior macro and decision making to snatch victory from Qnk Gaming and put us into a comfortable 2-0 lead. Game 3 was a TvZ on Shakuras Plateau , a slightly terran favoured map and one that did not agree with abstracts play stlye. myRAbstract vs QnkBreach. Despite Breaches efforts and huge supply lead our Greek Zerg held on for life itself and used his Hive tech army to push back the entrenched terran who seemed to forget to build Vikings and thus costing him the game. It was a huge relief when we saw the gg and we knew ''Abs'' was on the verge of knocking out one of the leagues favourites. Game 4 and yes thats right '' sigh '' we are back to zvz on Cloud Kingdom. Abstract seized this opportunity to end the clan war and secure the win for our mighty team by doing an all in and giving the hatch first Qnatek gaming's Giantt no chance. MangeR Reaction myRRennick '' I am so proud of Abstract, I believe in him at all times and I hope we continue to see him all kill'' Player reaction myRAbstract Well, before the clanwar i checked my opponent match history, and saw what they prefer to play vs Zerg. So in the first 2 games, i chose to play normal macro games, nothing funky, because i felt like i could beat my opponents straight up. The third game was the weirdest however. Shakuras Plateau for ZvT, is really hard on the zerg. And my ussual style doesn't work that well on that map. So i decided to open in a way i almost never do. The game didn't start well, and as the game went on it got worse and worse for me. However in the end i saw glimpse of hope into broodlords, and it amazingly worked. I should've lost that game, but i'm glad i won it. In the last game i was facing, probably one of their best zergs, Giant, and i knew he would probably have seen my first 2 games vs their 2 zergs. So i was pretty sure he would open greedily 15 hatch, since in the first 2 games i opened safely. So i used that to cheese him and it worked. So after all that, i'm feeling great.
