Today comes a day myRevenge is proud to announce a new team from a country far away from europe, the Iraq.

With this step myRevenge gets more and more popular in foreign countries to increase its image and to support more and more teams in their esport career.

We've done this because we try to establish some international relations. This is a well-known operation and we try the best to support our new team as much as we can.

In the general, the esport was not that public in the middle east as other activities, but in the beginning of 2004 most of Arabian countries became interested in this field due to many reasons, like the conquer of the technology. Beside the high development of the internet diffusion, the way that helped the arabian countries to get more exprience in this field, some countries started to organise ESWC qualification, WCG etc.

In 2005, the gaming revolution occured and most of people add the gaming to their activities, in addition to the diffusion of the network lans, gaming tournaments, gaming festivals, gaming companies etc.

Like every country, a group of most talented players started creating a team and prepare for the upcoming events.
Due to the competitive spirit, a thousands of arabian teams created in the beginging of 2006.

So you can see most of esport communities (Europe or North American) became full of Arabian players.

This is the current lineup:

Ahmed " Kisame " Basher - Team-Captain

Maher " zeekhr0x " Al-Shakury - Player
Bashar " Co()L_DaNciNgg " Al-Abdullah - Player
Rafeef " Hunter___ " Natiq - Player
Rami " DareDevi16 " Rahman - Player

Statement of Christian " Noir " Heinrichs:
"As 1st chairman of myRevenge im very happy and proud to welcome our new iraqi team. It's a huge step for myRevenge to have a team from a country far away from europe. This team will play for us to show the rest of the world that Counter-Strike 1.6 is still not dead in the Arabian World. They got a nice skill and are ready to show and prove it in online and offline tournaments."

Statement of Ahmed " Kisame " Basher:
"At first I would like to thank myRevenge community to give us this chance and support, so we will do our best to dominate most of the tournaments in the middle east. Well, we are grateful for the opportunity that myRevenge gave us."

Statement of Maher " zeekhr0x " Al-Shakury:
"Well, we are grateful for the opportunity that myRevenge gave us.
We are excited at the moment, and will do our best in order to gain success in the upcoming events."
